Welcome to St Mary of the Angels College, an exciting new chapter for Catholic education in Nathalia and our surrounding communities.
As a new F–12 Catholic College, we unite our St Francis Primary Campus and St Mary of the Angels Secondary Campus as one connected learning community. Together, we provide a continuous educational journey where young people can grow in faith, learning and confidence from their early years through to the completion of secondary school.
We are proud to serve families across northern Victoria and southern New South Wales, building on the rich traditions of Catholic education in our region while looking confidently towards the future.
At the heart of our College is our Catholic faith and the example of Jesus Christ. Inspired by St Francis of Assisi, we embrace the values of justice, peace and the integrity of creation, expressed through gratitude, joy, compassion and respect for all. These values guide our relationships, shape our learning community and inspire us to make a positive contribution to the wider world.
As we begin this new chapter, we honour the generations of students, families, educators and community members who have shaped our story. We particularly acknowledge the Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood (FMDM) Sisters, whose dedication, faith and service over more than 30 years helped establish a lasting legacy of Catholic education at St Mary of the Angels.
Building on this proud heritage, we are committed to providing a welcoming, family-oriented environment where every young person feels known, valued and supported. Through quality teaching, strong relationships, pastoral care and high expectations, we encourage students to develop academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually, becoming curious learners, confident individuals and compassionate citizens.
We believe that strong partnerships between students, families and educators are essential to student success. We look forward to working alongside our families and communities to create opportunities for every young person to learn, grow and flourish.
The establishment of St Mary of the Angels College, F–12, is an opportunity to honour our past, build shared traditions and create a vibrant future for Catholic education across our region.
Thank you for visiting our website. We warmly welcome you to our College community and look forward to the journey ahead.
